On the other side of the door, the chill of late afternoon in Gotham awaits. The sun is nearly down, and there is a stiff breeze. A newspaper drifts by.
"Welcome to Gotham."
"Welcome to Gotham."

"So we have a deal then?" Knox is starting to feel just a tiny bit anxious. The longer he's here, the more that could backfire on him.
"Yes, Mister Nervous, we do."
no subject
"Pleasure doing business with you." then looks to Knox to follow his lead.

The old man wraps the parts in bubble wrap, bags them, and waves them into the night. And Knox leads the way out.

"That was certainly interesting." turning to Knox, "What's wrong?"

[ooc: I have no idea what those connections are, either. It's up to Knox to let me know if he finds out. :)]

"Well if you want the story but don't want to do that anymore then I would be fine with continuing the relation with the shopkeeper and report back to you. Besides the more you are around here the higher the chances of you getting recognized. Mr. Nervous." she teases.
Oh how she hopes that Knox will let her come back to continue with this. Even if it ends up to help bring these guys down she likes this place, it really is perfect for those in her 'former' profession.

"I think I need to get these back to the office, and then to start making some calls. What do you think I should do first, find out who those suits were, or get in touch with my contacts in the defense industry?"
no subject
She has to think about it, "I would find out who the suits are first, that way you'll know who it is that will be trying to keep you from the information then see what your contacts know. Though be careful. I have a feeling that batman isn't going to want pieces to the puzzle out there. You might want to consider keeping those someplace he can't get to them."

"I have my hiding places. But I'm going to have to let the experts see what I have, so there's no way they'll be competely secured. But I'm willing to take the risk." They get back to the car, which is in the same sorry shape it was an hour ago.
"I'll drive you back to the door, but then I think I'm gonna stay and get back to work. Been in the Bar too long."
no subject
"Yeah and you haven't broken out into song once since we got here." she smiles hopefully. "Well when they aren't being looked at by your experts you may want to bring it back to bar. In fact some of the patrons there might be able to help."
no subject
"Though I guess you would want the magic to work, wouldn't you?
"I'll see how my contacts do with the parts first. Better to have sources I can quote." They weave through the traffic, a light rain beginning.
no subject
"Thank you Knox." she says as she watches the rain fall against the windshield.

[ooc: wrap here, I think. Can you post this to the Bar?]
